Front thermal labels
Thermal paper with no protective layerThis paper has three basic elements: First, the temperature-sensitive layer, chemically reactive. Under this thermal layer is the printable layer, which gives the printed image a high resolution and quality and improves the sensitivity of the thermal layer. Then there is a paper base.
Thermal paper with a protective layer
Paper for thermal printing with a paper base, printable layer and thermal layer can have an extra top layer that protects it from external agents, such as:
- mechanical abrasion, scratches, etc.
- chemical attacks, i.e. oil, grease, transparent varnishes, organic solvents and plastic wrapping / PVC film.
- environmental effects – high relative humidity or condensation on frozen food labels.
The last cover or layer offers extra protection that prevents the adhesive from moving.
